~ Battery lasts a long time - connected to wifi on netflix - at LEAST 5 hours of video runtime
~ Screen is very sensitive to touch and rotation - love it!
~ Settings are easy to find and adjust
~ I have recommended this to others who have purchased and are happy as well

Tablet with a monster battery

This tablet is pretty good with battery power, however, once i updated the system, it's very sluggish. i assume it's due to low RAM memory and slow CPU to run the most up to date system.
Oh, and facebook and some programs are really slow.
It takes a while to get a right location for GPS unless you have a good WI-FI spot near you.
But once it gets the location in the beginning, GPS function works well.
Kickstand is really handy. I don't need an extra cover or stand to watch something long.
For a tablet, it's got a good set of speakers.

I got what I expected

I got the Lenovo Yoga 8 for two reasons: 1.) I wanted a tablet 2.) I wanted the yoga effect (as I call it). The fact that you can put this tablet in those 3 different modes is a huge plus. You don't need to get one of those cases that make your tablet stand. I got quit a few looks when I unfolded the stand to watch or to put it in the tilt mode to write an email.
Since I am a huge reader I love how comfortable it is to hold the tablet while I read my e-books.
Overall I am really happy with my purchase and I would make the same choice again, well maybe I would choose the 10'' tablet to get the stylish keyboard case.

I am not a tech person and if you would ask me about any specifications I couldn't tell you one. But so far this tablet did a great job and I wouldn't trade it for an other one.

My favorite tablet

I've been through a few tablets, phones, and laptops on the last few years. This one is by far my favorite. It's lightweight, portable, huge value, and had the amazing built in kickstand. With this puppy by my side, I have a second screen wherever I go. It also fits in my hand super well for bus time reading pleasure. Truly a remarkable product.

Great Tablet

I was reluctant to buy a tablet since my smartphone does everything that I thought the tablet would do. Nevertheless, my family (parents and brothers) all had tablets, even my 70 year old father had one, so I figured I would get one too... but which one to get. After doing extensive researching, using my brothers Samsung devices and parents Apple devices I decided on the Lenovo Yoga and it has turned out to be center of my home. I synced it, via bluetooth, to my home audio system so all my music is a touch away along with Pandora and other streaming music sources. I love to cook, so the built-in stand is perfect in the kitchen when reading recipies. Every morning it serves as my alarm clock, weather station and sports recap with appropriate apps. Every evening, it's my bookkeeper as I balance my banking credits and debits. I realize maybe most tablet devices can perform the same aforementioned tasks, but it is with the greatest of ease that the Yoga allows me to do them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with my Yoga8 purchase

When I lost my Thinkpad Tablet, I obsessed for days about what to replace it with. I decided a little smaller would be better, so looked at the 7" options. I love the form factor of the Yoga8; the built-in stand, the easy one handed grip. The sound is great — I travel a lot and it's a great solution for music in my hotel. The screen is adequate for web, kindle, email, even Netflix is OK.
My only issue really is that about a month after I got it, it updated itself, and Pandora has never run right since. It skips incessantly, and nothing I can do seems to make Pandora play right. I keep hoping one of the frequent firmware upgrades will finally fix that and then it will be perfect again.

Outstanding Android tablet!

This is my fourth Android tablet and by far the best of the bunch! The Yoga 8 tablet makes the Android system even better! I bought a wireless Bluetooth keyboard to work with and it works great!. Much better than I had expected. I take my Yoga 8 with me on the road, with my Bluetooth keyboard, use my "Kingsoft Office" and it is wonderful to work with since the battery life is so long. When other attendees in meetings are up trying to run extension cords across the room to try and find available power sockets and plug in, I look down and check my battery life and I'll have 10+ hours of time left. And when in such long meetings, everyone wants to know what tablet I have and how it can keep working so long. I am constantly in awe of how well this was thought out and designed! It has been literally perfect for me. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Awesome battery life

Tablet is reliable, last long time between charges. Only thing missing is hdmi port, regular usb port and flash for the rear camera.
Still best tablet ever.
