Pretty good little system. I like the convenience of it but it seems to lag sometimes.
Overall I feel it was a good investment and would recommend it.

This device feels great in my big hands, great to look at, awesome price for all it can do and for all I am remotely cabable of doing with it... I will definitely continue to sell this product via mouth as I have already been doing. All in all, buy one and see! Where I'm from, we have a saying that goes like this: "you never try, you will never know".

Excellent tablet, long battery life, handy to use

I love this tablet - the Yoga 8. I've owned several tablets, and tried out several more for family and friends. The Lenova Yoga 8 has the longest lasting battery life I've every seen. Rated for 16 hours, my steady use reading/web browsing/watching video typically lasts 20+ hours.
The screen is sharp and clear - absolutely no complaints there.
Sound is excellent from the front-facing speakers
The built-in stand is so much more valuable than I expected when I bought it. It's easy to use and is always "there".
I also love that it supports 64gb microSD cards.
Video and audio both play very well.
I read all the time - no eye strain, and the weighted edge of the Yoga 8 puts the heaviest part of the tablet closest to my hand - where it causes less strain.
I do recommend this tablet - to family, friends, strangers passing in the street. A great product.

Performs admirably in a field situation

I knew before the Ecuador field trip that the Lenovo Yoga 8 was an excellent product. It fit in perfectly between the computers I used at work and at home. The Android OS was excellent, intuitive and responsive and the Yoga 8 managed the system in a fluid way, fast and reliable. The learning curve for this machine was much less steep than I expected. One of the features that I liked was the stand. It is very efficient and useful and can be used two ways, one of which expedited typing. The preloaded programs were mostly very good. I did not have to spend a bunch of time reviewing programs and downloading them from Google Play. I did download some programs and the downloading process was fast and simple.
But I really came to appreciate the Yoga 8 when I made a trip to remote areas of Ecuador where I direct a field school. I could count on the Yoga to hold a charge for 18 hours. It was all I needed to run the school given the intermittent access to electricity, astonishing

Best tablet I have ever used

I purchased this tablet cause I wanted a more powerful and portable tablet than my IPad for personal use as my iPad was for work.
What I found was I slowly but gradually stopped using my iPad altogether as this one way far superior in every way. I
Simply love my yoga tablet, would not trade it for any other period.

my first tablet

Overall I like the yoga. I've had it lock up on me twice and had to call lenovo to find out how to unlock it. Also, I find the volume button awkward to use. Seperate up and down buttons would be better. Love the long battery life.
