A great tablet!

Great features in battery life between charges, great "kick stand" and nice screen resolution...also, don't forget the start-up speed when starting from shut-down. All very convenient while using this tablet. I've used the tablet for nearly 24 hours over a weekend as my "juke box" keeping the background music flowing and the battery was only at 40% charge at the end of use....unbelievable. This was streaming wifi music! The kick-stand keeps the screen visible and usable while on a counter, desk top or wherever I set it down....it rarely lies flat on it's back, and very handy in the kitchen as my new electronic cook book.
The screen is durable and scratch free after nine months continuous use. I keep a microfiber towel handy to remove the finger prints between use and that is all the maintenance needed.
I laugh when I see an IPad or a Galaxy try to accomplish as much as can with my Yoga!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It still performs well after almost one year usage(I bought it since it was released). It runs Clash of clan, chrome smoothly.

I purchased this tablet for my aunt who is 69 and has little to no computer skills. She thoroughly enjoys her new tablet and especially the access to online obituaries and social media she know has. I think "we" have created a monster.

Lenovo Yoga 8beats ALL other tablets!!!

The Lenovo Yoga 8 is a FANTASTIC tablet!!!
The Quad Core system is great and the navigation is quick.
Getting onto the Internet and navigating pages is fast and efficient.
The screen's color saturation is wonderful. Someone asked me was it an IPad and I said "No, it's better - it's a Lenovo."
The case of the Lenovo is comfortable, with the stand built in and that curved part of the unit makes it extremely easy to hold.
I would recommend this tablet over ANY other tablet out there - HANDS DOWN!!!

I love reading my nook books as well as my Kindle books on this tablet. I read our local newspaper daily using the yoga also. Netflix works great.

Great mutifunction tablet

This tablet was a great purchase. The Android system works well, fast and smoothly. The physical features of the tablet are it's real assets. The ability to stand it up is a real convenience and the unique shape of the battery compartment makes hand holding very comfortable. Another real plus is the battery itself. It really lasts a long time before charging is needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First tablet

This was an impulse purchase as it was offered at a promotional price when I bought another Lenovo computer. Seemed to be a good deal, so why not?
That being said, I'm generally pleased with the flexibility and convenience of using a tablet, very nice to not have to lug a laptop around to access internet, for reading downloaded books, etc. Battery life very good, and the built-in stand very useful...better than my spouse's Ipad!
On the downside, many apps seem not to work very well if the wireless connection is slow or weak. It seems other tablets sometimes work better under sub-optimal wireless conditions. Perhaps the Yoga needs a better antenna, or maybe this is an app problem, or both. Also need to configure the setup separately for each new wireless connection in order for the ad blocking software to work correctly. Not too complicated, but annoying. I've no doubt this is intentional.
I can't really compare it with others in any depth. But it seems to work well enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After researching Samsung & Asus tablets I stumbled on to this tablet and with the positive tech reviews I found I decided to try it ..and at the time had a sale with promo code going so it was a great deal now that I have had it and look back at what the cost was and the others I considered. I would highly recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a smaller tablet. Disregard what some say about the screen resolution etc...I have watched videos and TV shows on and cannot tell the difference.
