very nice tablet

My only complaint is with the preloaded web browser and email client. The browser crashes frequently and there is no apparent way to update this app. The email is a little buggy - you can't service multiple accounts reliably if they use different send/receive protocols.
But the hardware is excellent. Fast boot time and able to stream video with ease, or stream audio while working on another app.
The kickstand is great as it doubles as a handle and the audio is excellent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yoga 8 handy unit

If you simply want wi-fi reader, general tablet chores, long battery life, good storage (I have 32g version), microsd slot, simple, good quality build, then this unit is pretty nice. There's a lot I don't like about any tablet I see and I think they could all be built better. The case on this one is slippery for example. Even with the round hold bar, it is slippery. Sound is great even with tiny speakers. It reboots itself occasionally, which I like (assuming it's completing updates) It reboots, comes back up in less than a minute and ready to use.
When new I had trouble with adding apps - they would install, but the unit restarted every few minutes. I updated Android and the problem disappeared and it goes days without rebooting.
Android has a lot of gunk that I'd like to wipe off the desktop - a blank start page to put what I want on with no sign of things I will never use.
Great unit, have had good luck with it so far, no problems after six months.

Best Purchase Ever!!!

After researching different tablets I decided to go with the Lenovo Yoga tablet and I couldn't be happier! I get long life with the battery and it is very easy to hold on to. Plus if I want to watch a video I can put the stand up and set it on the table to watch. It is awesome!

I love the way the Lenovo Yoga is designed. It provides a perfect view and hold on whatever stance I'm in. I guess that's why it's called YOGA. Comfortable in any position, hold and grip.

FIRST TABLE EVER....

...and the only tablet I will use! I love the fact that I can view everything on the screen so clearly, the page that downloads, the Keyboard, now that's important, (I'm 55 need good visuals), the sound is impressive coming from a tablet. no, actually, it's great! I learned how to download old school music and I just plug my headphones and it's on! The tablet is compact enough that it fits perfectly in my work handbag! The instructional video was perfecto, easy to follow so that I am somewhat of a wiz on Lenovo tablet; I always highly recommend it, though, honestly the tablet does it for itself - everytime someone uses, they can't stop raving about it. I kinda feel like a pro on the down low, no experience in purchasing tablets but I made one helluva choice and hit it right on the nose when I decided to purchase MY Yoga! It is either in my bag or right near me.
