The stove has a good sized oven and bakes well. However, it the stainless steel is very difficult to keep clean and very easily scratched. In fact it was delivered scratched. It is also difficult to operate, took me over one hour just to set the clock..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive oven with modern details

I bought this oven 5 months ago. The stainless steel cooktop surface is rather difficult to clean. Because the burner dials are on a slant, they catch more grease, and must be removed to clean the surface underneath properly. The largest burner is on the left side, rather than the right side. I am right handed, so it is not the best location for me. I suppose I should have noticed this when I decided to purchase the oven in the store.
In addition, the oven did not come with a broiler pan. This was not an inexpensive model, and I would have expected the broiler pan to be included.
On the position side, the oven temperature is accurate and baked goods come out perfect.

Performs well but...

The gas range performs well and I love that the oven controls can be easily read. However, the heavy grate causes deep scratches on the stainless steel surface of the control panel no matter how carefully handled while cleaning and because the sides of the range overlaps onto the countertop, the weight of the grate makes it difficult to pull open the adjacent drawer. Also the surface is a rough texture, making it hard to clean up spills. As for the oven interior, spillage from roasting sweet potatoes on a sheet pan caused a permanent stain even though it was wiped up immediately after the oven cooled. Spills on the burner tops are also difficult to remove. Scrubbing with a Scotch Brite pad seems to remove the finish while using a Magic Eraser did a better job without affecting the finish.

Cooks great, easy to clean

Bought this 2 months ago and love it! Easy to control heat on the cook top, accurate oven temp and easy to clean. Looks great in my kitchen. Overlooked great feature is the lip on the sides. This prevents any spillage between the stove and the cabinet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOVE MY NEW RANGE!

I just got my new range and I love it. My old stove was 24 years old and this range just brought me to date with all its digital features. I love the warming tray and the different size burners for my particular needs. I absolutely love the convection oven, cooks faster than my old oven so I am a happy chef!

The looks and performance of a commercial range!

We've had our GE gas range for about 3 months and couldn't be happier! Great, fast power burner and FOUR more from which to choose. Love the cast grates and the stainless stove top. So easy to clean....food doesn't "cook on." It really has the look of a commercial range, but isn't as expensive or large as most commercial/home models. I cooked on a commercial gas range for 27 years in the industry and this does just as good of a job! Oven has much higher BTU that our old gas range/oven. Our microwave oven is mounted under the cabinet and over the range. It exhausts out into the kitchen and is not sufficient to take the heat out and away from the wall and cabinets...so BE SURE you have ventilation to the outside. We will have to retrofit our microwave to vent up throught the ceiling. Also, if anyone is replacing a "drop-in" range - good luck finding one! I don't think they even make them anymore. Some brands call them "drop-in"....but they really are "slide-in." Our problem was having the gas line and the electric outlet directly in the floor under the range. This GE "slide-in" range worked great for that configuration.
We are extremely satisfied with the the quality, appearance and performance of this GE appliance!
