JUST ONE MINOR COMPLAINT

THE CLEAR FILM OVER THE KEYPAD STARTS TO WRINKLE/PUCKER/BUBBLE OVER THE OFTEN USED BUTTONS, SUCH AS TIMER AND START.

I got this as my Christmas gift to myself and so far has beaten any Microwave oven I've ever had in the past. Seems to be just great, especially for my needs.

Don't buy this it only last 3 years I bought 10/12 and broken by 1/16, I'm not going to buy any GE microwave this is the second model that broke in less than 4years.

it went bad

it went bad in about 2 years. some electrical smell develped and we didnt want to take any chances so i guess we will have 2 throw it out. its out of warranty but I guess i'll be looking for a different brand next time. always trusted ge in the past

Great microwave, but it broke after two years

I loved this microwave, until it started crackling and emitting a burning smell. I usually have no problems with GE appliances, but it looks like my streak is ending.

Great look

Works great but condensation builds up on glass inside door and gets behind the glass if you don't dry after each use. This problem has caused the microwave to rust under the turntable. I would not recommend for these reasons.

Dangerous?

I have had microwaves that lasted 15-20 years. We clean ours probably not as often as Martha Stewart, but often enough for it to be sanitary for our family of 5. I noticed the acrylic was bubbly in texture a few months back and thought it was strange, but was too busy to worry much about it. Then today, I went to detail it and saw the top was completely corroded with a gaping hole in it. Incredibly disappointed in the quality and worried about the food we have been consuming from it.
