good cooker!

The oven is a great looker, all stainless steel. The controls are easy to use. It has locked up a couple of times and requires a plug and unplug to get going correctly again. Unless there is some secret that I have not figured out, there is no way to stop or clear a timer that has been set. Also, my wife opened as the timer was ending and 00:00 was frozen on the screen. This is only using the timer, with no cooking functions. Cooking while separately timing works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does what it needs to do

Had a prior unit for over 10 years. Bought this as a replacement as it fits the custom buildout. Prior unit was a workhorse, expect the same from this unit. Never used 3/4 of the features, and nooks and crannies can get dirty, but overall a very good microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great - except bulb can't be replaced

I have had this microwave for about 9-10 years. The bulb burned out about 2 years ago. My husband never got around to replacing it. So I decided to today. And I found out that it is not replaceable. I don't want to send my microwave to a landfill over this issue. That is just silly. But I will not buy another product from GE without verifying that the bulb can be replaced. Planned obsolescence is a bad idea for the future of our planet!
