Expected So Much More

Received this as a Christmas present and wish I had gotten a pair of socks. As another reviewer said, I fear getting the Gear wet.
I do not care for this watch at all, the limited functionality of it makes it not much more than a conversation piece. It is big and bulky creating problems when wearing a jacket/coat or long sleeve shirt.
The colors you can customize it with are limiting and not very appealing, to me at least.
The screen goes off to conserve battery (which it needs to do), but illuminates when you don't want it to and doesn't illuminate when you do want it to.
The apps are limiting, the S Voice isn't terrible, but is less than stellar. If it misinterprets a text there is no way to correct it, without doing the whole thing over.
Battery life, while decent, is not anywhere near what I expected. I believe the lowest I have been is 48% in a day, but I am scared to try going two days on a charge.
The cradle, is not the best design, because you have to enclose the watch in it and then it lays on its side.
It is a bit snug on the wrist as well, and the band isn't as flexible as it could be to accommodate wider wrists.
I want to like the Gear, but I feel I will not be replacing my current watch with this. I really wish I could of had the money the giver spent on it rather than the device.
Pros: tells time
Cons: Did not meet expectations, bulky, expensive, limited capabilities

The holes in the band are spaced too far apart, making it impossible to fit to my wrist.

This is a great watch it can be useful at times. But you just get bored of it, I've had mine for 2 months and I'm about to sell it. It looks and feels great on your wrist. The features are very good, but you wont use them after a while and I wont see the point in it. At the start it seems great, a watch with a camera and you can call and text on it, but you dont need or use those feautures alot after a while.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, got bored of it, poor battery life

as for the watch love it and all the features. as for charging it what a piece of !!!! less tha a year and 3cables and 2 chargers its broken again will have to think long and hard about another samsung device after this. and by the way love my note 3 so im not a hater

Needs text feature to answer the text back..over all a little bulky but nice watch. Add some wifi capabilities and it will be a hit. So it could work solo.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, weather is awesome
Cons: needs feature to answer texts, needs wifi capability to be paired or on its own
I would recommend this to a friend!

If I wear this device more than forty (40) minutes blood flow is lowered with band fully extended. How might this problem be resolved. To date not been able to fix. Makes a very expensive paper weight. Thanks? T.K. Garner.
