Great Microwave

Love the "Extenda-Vent." Gets more of the steam or cooking fumes. The defrost feature with the ability to enter weight of frozen item works perfectly with no brown edges. The popcorn feature works very well, never cooking popcorn too much, regardless of size of package. I would buy this unit again.

We bought this microwave for our new home after much research. What a terrific microwave! It does all it advertises, is easy to use, and looks fantastic in our kitchen.

Love the xtend a hood

We have only had the microwave for a few months, but the ease of use and features are great. We especially love the extenda hood and turbo vent features. I have a tendency to over cook some foods and the turbo speed on the vent-a hood works great. The preset button that I have used so far seem to work as advertised. i would definitely recommend LG products to my friends

2nd try...may be last for LG

This is my 2nd, as my first just stopped working after only 1&1/2 years (Same model). Just outside of warranty. Go figure. a bit expensive for only 1&1/2 years. Love the features & ease to use. Looks great & fairly easy to install by myself....with teen son helping hold. Hopefully 2nd micro works longer then last, because that one replaced one that worked for over 15 years (not an LG).
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave is the bomb! It has all the features I was looking for in a microwave. The kids cook feature is perfect for my son, what more could a busy mom ask for? My personal favorite feature is the warm/hold button. I have to admit, I had my heart set on a completely different brand name, but I have no doubt I made the right choice with buying the LG!

This microwave rocks. The styling is nice, but the performance is tremendous. Many features we haven't used yet, but the reheat function seems to work exceptionally well - heats to just the right temperature. Overall,the unit is very quiet. My only complaint is that when the timer finishes, the unit doesn't reset to show the clock.

Quiet microwave

We replaced our range and old 11 year old microwave with new matching LG appliances, This microwave is much quieter than our previous microwave. Larger capacity and higher wattage as well. Installation went smoothly - plan on 2 people to install it. The controls are straightforward. I would definitely recommend this model.

Well worth the cost

Really love the functionality of this microwave. I bake a lot so the "soften" button is great and the "more" button for adding the 10 seconds is really helpful when I'm not sure about the cooking time. The extenda vent is awesome and I use the low light for a night light in the kitchen.
