Quiet, quiet, quiet!

Very quiet, hardly hear the microwave running. Of course the exhaust fan can be heard but that is expected. Having the extended vent option is great when using the front burners of the stove below. The features, like popcorn, auto warming are very convenient. Love the look of stainless in the kitchen.

Lots of Good Features / Looks Great

Great addition to my major kitchen remodel. The sensing technology is spot on (except for the hot dog setting...could use a little more time). Looks great over my new LG range and complements the entire kitchen design.

I like the ability to soften my butter for baking in the microwave. It is programmed for butter and then you add the number of sticks you are working with.

Stopped heating a year later.

Worked great up until a few days ago when it just stopped heating and started making a loud noise. Warranty is no longer valid and finding someone in the area that fixes LG appliances is nearly impossible. Eventually, paying to repair makes no sense considering the price that was originally paid to purchase the appliance. Might as well buy a new one. If it breaks down good luck finding a place that can fix it for a reasonable price.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The spring that holds the vent closed breaks after about 2weeks of use and if you replace it it just breaks again.

front Cracks from normal use

I purchased the entire signature kitchen and the extendable vent microwave. I now have a crack from where you push the vent in.

Extend A Vent

Life is Good, Great, and Gorgeous. My new mircowave is all of those things as well. It took some time to become acquainted with all the accessories and gadgets. The warming feature is greate when preparing large meals. I also, love the venting system with turbo power. You can literally see the steam, smoke, and vapors dissipate when using the ventilation system. The style of this microwave is awesome and fits well with my other LG appliances. Thanks LG for a great product.

I love this microwave! It has so many great features. Especially with the auto warming of leftovers and baby food. Easy to use and easy to keep clean. What more could you ask for? A MUST BUY!
