Love the "Mac n Cheese"

So far, after a few months, this is proving to be a really good microwave. We have no complaints, and love the kid friendly button for 'mac n cheese'. It is a nice looking appliance as well. Easy to program for what you need. Some of the reviewers complain of its not having a one minute button, but the EZ On is just that, just hit it twice and you have a minute, I do it all the time. Have not had to use the vent feature yet.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Good looking with great features

When I purchased this microwave, I was pleasantly surprised when I first powered up the microwave. It was so quiet that I wasn't sure if it was on or not. I have never has such a quiet unit. In addition the stove top lights are positioned for great light coverage. A great plus in a dark kitchen. But the greatest feature of all is the pull out vent hood. I can now cover the entire range with a vent hood . It is not the least expensive unit on the market, but I believe that the style and features make it a good buy for the money.

PRODUCT COMPLETELY DIED AFTER 14 MONTHS OF SERVICE:-( WE TRAVEL ALOT & FIGURE THAT WE HAVE ONLY BEEN HOME 6 MONTHS OF THE 15 SINCE BUYING THIS HOUSE. 2 ADULTS, NO KIDS!

Awful product

I installed this microwave for my 73 year old mother who used it occasionally. It died 13 months later. Awful product. Stay away from LG appliances.

Lasted for 18 month and then it fryed up. Not a very happy customer. Can't recommend this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 10/13. Morning of 1/19/16 stopped heating. Everything worked except it wouldn't cook. Only had 2 yrs & 4 mos. and the Magnetron quit working. Even though it has a 10 yr warranty, the service call & labor was going to cost almost as much as a brand new one, so we bought a brand new microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was warned not to buy this microwave, but I wanted to match my stove. Now only after a few years I've been to five different stores and I can't find a mircowave that will fit because of the new area they placed the bolt pattern. It like I have to buy another LG but I don't want to take another chance on a lemon. My original microwave lasted for 15 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I HAD THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 5 YEARS THAT EXPIRED A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE PLAN EXPIRED. THE FAN INSIDE THE MICROWAVE GOES ON WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR TO REMOVE FOOD. WHEN I CALLED UP, I WAS TOLD TO BUY A NEW ONE AS IT WOULD COST MOST TO REPAIR IT! THE CONSUMER REPORTS SAID IT WOULD LAST 10-20 YEARS! THE BEST FEATURE IS THE EXTENDED VENT.
