Extenda Vent Beware

Microwave works great but the extenda vent cover cracked after one week. The extenda vent cover is made from plastic and cracked due to heat from the cooktop below (another LG product). I would recommend not purchasing this microwave if you own a cooktop below with high heat output.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This over the range microwave is very nice. The best thing has to be the extendable fan hood. The extension works well to keep steam and other vapors from the microwave face. it extends to cover all the burners of the range below.
Also, the popcorn button is spot on.

Quiet w/great features.

From day one of installation, we felt the interior lighting was not strong enough, compared to the product we had previously. Inquired, but was told that it meets the wattage criteria. The product was quiet and had great features, so we decided to live with it. Now that it we used for a few months, we are satisfied with the product, even though we are not able to witness the cooking process.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

The wire rack in the oven has to be removed in order to put a cup or bowl into the cavity for heating. This is a negative.
There are no "speed buttons". In order to heat for one minute, one must press 100 and enter.
In spite of those two feature flaws, I like the unit. It is stylish and efficient for an 1100 watt unit.

This product looks and performs well

It looks great along with the same brank gas range. It has all the needed features. The extending exhaust fan is wonderful. The only negative thing about it is the metal wall bracket that holds it in place. Its thin and not as sturdy as the one I removed from the previous microwave.

The metal rack catches the microwave items in a bag and stops the turntable

To bad it didn't work as advertised .For having extend a vent still has a weak blower . Doesn't have good suction it sounds strong but no suction .

Sharp Looking Microwave

We have had our new Microwave for about 2 months. We are transitioning to all SS appliances. it looks nice and works well. It is a higher wattage, so we did have to learn to shorten the time we cook some things. We have not used the fan yet.
