Very accurate cooking options

I bought this unit because it matched the oven that is also just bought. This is the most accurate cooking level microwave I have ever used. It also nicely for above the stove in the spot of my old hood without any renovation. Great capacity too!

New replacement microwave for a 10yr old GE. Haven't used it much, but so far I love it. Especially the soften butter feature came in handy for baking Christmas Cookies.

Lower quality than early models

This model replaced an older one, and the new one has many features that are less appealing and functional than before. Clock timeouts, speed buttons not visible in low light (even with under-counter light on), door is less solid, 4 speed fan !! (why)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A step back!

My previous microwave also had a convection oven. It had to be replaced due to the components frying while warming a cup of coffee,
The replacement has three to four steps to cook or warm ! No speed button, no instant dial. Truly a step back.
