Not as good as our last one

We had to replace a ge microwave that was only 6 or 7 years old so stuck with ge because the new model fit our opening. It is not nearly as nice as the previous one. We are back to turning a knob to get the setting we want instead of pushing a button. I don't like it at all. It is very complicated to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Reheating Microwave EVER!!

I love this microwave for all of its' great features! It really reheats most foods very well, and doesn't leave the plate scalding hot. I think the approach for changing the intensity is great also, especially when heating sausages and other foods that don't need the high setting!

Don't Like to Control Panel

The microwave seems to be of good quality, but the control panel is poorly designed. The knob is not user friendly and the touch buttons are hard to push (not very sensitive). The microwave does not have as many cooking options as past models that had the touch pad. The menus are difficult to navigate and find options. GE needs to go back to the touch pad controls.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once you get used to the dial.

It took awhile to use the dial effectively, finding all the settings. It works great. Heats evenly, defrost works well, and the fan draws air really well. No complaints.

Great quality. Wanted another GE hood microwave because the first one finally gave out after 10 years. I loved the first one, and this one is even better than the first.

This is a very nice, easy to use microwave. I have had more powerful microwaves, however, so if you need lots of power you might want to try something else.
