Great until it breaks

This microwave was great while it lasted. After 6 years, the door latch broke and the control panel on the right is separating from the unit. Like the old saying goes “They don’t make em like they used to”. My parents over range microwave is atill going strong like 25 years later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lighting dreadful; fan possessed

Functions well, HOWEVER, the control panel light is dreadful, making the unit all but useless. We have had the unit for over 7 years and the cooking is as good today as it was in 2015 and the control panel is as bad as it was 7 years ago. The unit could have done more than heat/reheat if only we could see the control panel without a 40million candle power light. Also, the vent fan is possessed and the only way to turn it off is pull the plug.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
