Loving my stove

I love to cook and I have never enjoyed it more. I chose this range for my long-awaited kitchen remodel, but bought it a little earlier when my old range died, and I'm so glad that I did. The burners are wonderful from the super burner down to the simmer burner, and everything I could want in between. I'd never want anything but continuous grates now that I've had them on this stove. The broiler heats up quickly and broils evenly. The top oven heats quickly and cooks evenly. It handles a single baking sheet or casserole well, and meets most of our daily needs. I need to use oven mitts when I put things into and take things out of the top oven to avoid burning my hands (because the rack is close to the top of the oven.) The lower oven convection is a nice feature as I love to bake and make bread about once a week. The fan is unbelievably quiet. I also appreciate the proofing feature of the lower oven. The oven lights come on automatically when the door is opened, or can be turned on with the door closed for looking through the nice big oven windows. It's a silly thing, but I love the blue interior! The knobs are nickel plated, not just plastic, and seem to be sturdy. Cleaning the top would be easier if it were stainless, but it's doable. I wish the timers were a little louder. The burners worked well when we had to light them with matches during 6 days without power after hurricane Sandy....too bad the oven couldn't be lit. I have not found anything major to complain about, and I expect to enjoy this stove for years to come.

I practically live in my kitchen and when I started researching new ranges, my husband (the techie) recommended LG. He was right. I found the range that met all my needs.
No wasted space, easy to clean,true temperature, nice heavy grates and a lower oven that will take a good size turkey. This range is just completely functional.
Being Old School, it took a while to learn everything it does. But now, I can take advantage of it all.

First Rate Oven/Range, Would Highly Recommend!!!

This is my first review of an appliance. I have been buying appliances for over 40 years. This one arrived safe and sound, and I installed it the next day.Instructions were easy and straight-forward.
The range and double ovens out-performed my expectations and if I had to buy another, I would not hesitate to do so. I cannot say that for ALL of the other appliances I have bought. The controls are easy to read and the performance of the burners and the ovens are spectacular.
I researched this on the net, talked to salespeople about it, and made the decision to purchase it.
All I can say, is I highly recommend this.

Didn't know what we were missing

We replaced a single oven 16 year old range with this model. WOW. We can't believe the difference. The burners burn lots smoother. I LOVE that the knobs have numbers on them so we can set the flames to just the right height. The double oven is a great thing to have when you are cooking a big dinner and need more racks, space, or different temperatures. This range plays a little tune when the preheat is complete, timer goes off, etc. We are very happy with this range.

This range cooks so evenly, on the cooktop and in both ovens. Love that I'm not using as much energy when just heating up the upper oven.

I used this oven for Christmas and was able to cook different dishes simultaneously on different oven temperatures! I even kept the food warm for my guests! The timers are wonderful! I just love everything about the oven to date!

Excellent Stove Great features and Style

What a great stove I love it. Having the double ovens have been such a great thing to have. I've had 2 big family meals and the double oven came in handy. Love the looks of the stove. The convection works great. I have never used one before. It's worth the extra money to have it. You do have to clean the top with your stainless steal cleaner for it to shine like new. If you just clean it with soap and water it smears. I don't mind doing that. The flame on the center oval burner works great too. I would like to suggest to LG to make the ovens 1 inch deeper. But this isn't a problem. I just would like it to be just a little deeper. I know this stove cost a lot of money. But the quality is worth it. The review is for this model number but my control panel is a little different.

Great Range

I love the double ovens. I have often wanted to bake and/or roast two different things at the same time. Now I don't have to squeeze everything into one oven and compromise on the temperature. The self clean on both ovens work great which helps keep the brand new look. The touch keypad for the oven and timer controls make cooking a snap along with giving you precise control. The extra large burner on the range top is a blessing for quick high heat. The heavy range top grates are just right. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the center burner and the three smaller burners burn a little higher. The heavy duty grates raise the pot a little too high over the burners resulting in a longer warm up and cooking time. All said, I love the new range and would definitely recommend it to others.
