Scanner lacks Mac OS X Lion Support

The printer is fast. The text looks good. Page curl is minimal to moderate after a large number of pages in a row. It's kind of louder than I was expecting. Wireless setup required using a PC. Wasn't expecting that given that the printer as a display and keypad.
Biggest drawback is that I cannot use the scanner from my early 2011 laptop with Mac OS X Lion installed.
I eagerly await HP's response to this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice multifunction laser printer. Setup instructions were a bit lacking but the device set up easily and had no problems connecting to my home wireless network. It is nice to be able to send print projects to the device via the wireless connection. The only caveat being that despite being airprint compatible it is not a supported printing device when set up on the hp touchpad tablet. A call to a friendly and supportive customer service agent at hp has created an open ticket that has yet to be resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A very good all in one

This unit is mainly used for making copies and basic printing needs and it does these things very well. The auto feed is very nice and the long lasting toner is a great value. The starter toner is good for 700 pages and that will probably go further. Over all this is a very nice all in one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great home laser jet printer for the price. I got tired of constantly purchasing new ink jet cartridges everytime I wanted to print and decided to get a laser jet printer where the ink won't dry out.
The printer works well for a home office. I love the Air Print and wireless option on the printer. The energasy saving mode is also a very nice option since I don't use the printer that much.
The only gripe I have is that the installation directions for the Mac could've been more simple since it actually only takes one click to install the printer. Also, I had to update the firmware in order to be able to use Air Print and the scanner. Once all that was figured out, the installation seemed like a piece of cake.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It did exactly what it said it would do - it worked with ReadIris (a great program) but it did not have a tray to put envelopes or single pages thru. Had to send it back because that is a TOTALLY important feature.

HP has no drivers which allow scanning or faxing from MAC with Lion OS X Very disappointing as the product is advertised as latest ePrint enabled product. Can print wirelessly over the network but cannot scan at all pending updated drivers - which are not available from Apple or HP - and cannot FAX from the computer/word processing program. Printer works great, but 1/3 functionality is a bummer. Wireless install instructions are poor and the automatic WiFi connection does not seem to work which then requires an alternative install method.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well it took me about 2 hours to set up the AirPrint and it was all by chance because I was doing it on my own on Thanksgiving. I did the chat help but no good. So the printing is great and it does not take a lot of time to get my papers. I am in school so I just print articles and random stuff I need. But loving it so far!
I would recommend this to a friend!
