Great Purchase

I love this printer. I recently had purchased an Ink Jet printer due to the lower cost, what a mistake! It was actually the slowest printer I have ever owned. I could literally take a shower and come back before the print job was complete.
I ordered the Laserjet and promptly returned the InkJet. I am still amazed at the speed, it is fantastic. In addition, the unit is compact and sturdy and I love the mat black finish as the InkJet was a dust magnet and the shiny finish really showed it.
I would recommend this product to anyone for personal use a small business, it's the best!
I would recommend this to a friend!

...just the firmware update seems to be a problem. It would really be nice if the current updates would come on CD with the printer.

great machine

I ordered this machine to replace my laserjet 3030 when it broke after 8 years. I am overall happy with it. it makes a strange clunking sound when the next piece of paper is picking up, but the print is great. I have asked if the clunking is just my machine or everyones. I havent heard back. I wish the scan button was on the keypad and not on my computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The overall performance is excellent, however instructions on how to use the different functions is lacking. The Regis Pro 12 scanning software performance however is less than I expected but is improved over my old HP Inkjet All-in-One machine. Overall the value is very good.

A laser printer and fax that is wireless.

I needed another printer that didn't use up ink cartridges so fast, plus my small old fax machine is slowing down. So I bought this laser printer that also has a fax but is wireless. It was easy to install.

The lasterjet printer was easy to install both for wired and wireless. We use the printer in our home on our family router where we can print from anywhere in the house. The app that came with it is great for scanning multiple page documents, copying and printing. It is the perfet home printer except it does not do auto duplex printing which is a very efficient way of printing larger documents. I would highly recommend this printer for small business and home use.

This meets my needs

I have a small law practice. Controlling my overhead is crucial. This multifunction printer/fax/scanner works great, and produces high quality copies and is fairly easy to use--at a great savings over the larger office machine(s)
