works great is bigger than the space i took it out of but sits on counter just fine wife should have measured before ordering but no fault of ge. microwave works great and looks good matches fridge well

Easy to operate but TIMER is QUIET

Our old GE m/w was 12 yrs old and rusting inside so this was the replacement. Similar - easy to use. Drawback is the timer - there is only a single "beep" - so if you're not in the room to hear it, you're out of luck. The old m/w would beep until you turned it off. A bit on the noisy side but that was resolved by buying the cabinet trim kit - now it's quiet.

Ours was purchased Aug 2014, installed in September. Main power unit just failed (0ct 2015) ... Out of warranty... Only option is to replace it.
My wife and I always liked GE but after a less than adequate dish washer purchase .. And now this... I doubt I'll purchase any more GE appliances.. Ergo the old "fool me once,,, " saying applies.

Love the look with the Slate finish. We don't use our microwave regularly, but find that this one has all the functionality we need. It is easy to use.

Roomy and Efficient

We remodeled our kitchen and chose this microwave to be built in to the cabinetry. After a few days of getting used to the logic of the controls (old habits die hard) we enjoy it immensely. Easy to use and easy to clean.

The Timer buzzer is not loud enough
