I bought this a few months ago. Same watts as my last GE profile in wall microwave, but this one is definately not as strong. Food takes much longer to cook or reheat. It does look good and matches my profile oven
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

huge interior

I've been using this microwave for 3 months. The interior is huge. Seems to be very good at heating evenly. The only downside is a strange thin, square cover on the side of the microwave that looks like cardboard. My husband researched it, and it needs to remain in place, but because it is so thin and "carbboardy", I don't know how long it will be able to be cleaned and look decent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Microwave

This is the second GE Profile Microwave we have owned. This model is very similar to our previous unit purchased in 2001. The only thing I wish GE would change with their units is to make the most used touch pads (e.g., "Cook Time," "Start," "Cancel") more prominent.

Bought the microwave when the other one up and quit. I use my microwave every day and it is a necessity at this house. It doesn't have some of the features I was using so even though its a good microwave it's not excellent.
