A basic microwave

This is my second time completing this. Apparently my first review was not acceptable to GE and it was rejected. So I guess to be safe, I can only say that it is s basic microwave and meets that level of standard

our old microwave went out and we just got this one. hard to write a review based on only 3 days, but so far so good. just hope it lasts 15 years like our old one did.

Microwave with nice eye appeal

I love this microwave. The size is everything I need. It has a lot of functional features that make microwaving easy. I didn't need a microwave with convection oven as my french door wall over is also a convection oven. So, it has all the features I need and use. It is mounted, with the trim kit, above my french door wall oven so it has very high-end eye appeal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as last one I had. Buttons are smaller and I don't like big GE sign on the front door.

very noisy

This microwave is very noisy and hard to keep clean on the outside surfaces. It really needs the touch areas to be smudge free surfaces. Everytime we microwave it is noisy...have already had a repairman to adjust interior screws that cause it to be noisy (under warranty) however now it has come loose again and it is off warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our previous home had an Advantium which, other than the horrible dial you turn and push to make selections, we loved for the rest of its features and capabiliites. When we moved we selected this microwave as a "stop gap" until GE redesigns their Advantium to make the user interface better. In a world of touch screens the "dial" is cumbersome and limiting; not able to give you a broad range of options all at once.
This microwave cooks as expected and has a great selection of 1-touch options that make it very versatile. It also looks great, as do the rest of the GE Profile appliances in the kitchen. The one annoyance is that it has already, after only about 3 months of use, has developed a squeek in the mechanism that spins the glass turntable. It can get quite loud at times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features but very expensive

Great Large microwave to replace my existing old one in the same cabinet cut out. Compared to other microwaves it is very expensive but I needed it to fill my cabinet cut out and this and the trim fit perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
