THIS IS MY SECOND ONE WITHIN 2 YEARS. FIRST ONE WENT BAD 18 MONTHS LATER. FORCED TO BUY IT AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE TRIM KIT ALREADY INSTALLED

Bought this at the end of last year. The color shows no fingerprints and goes with any décor. Love the reheat feature.

I bought this for my office in Dec to replace a GE we had for 5 years. So far it was been broken down twice. Something keeps shorting inside. Not warrantied as it is consider in a commercial setting. The other three GE microwaves we have are still going strong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't last two years...

Microwave is going out. Clock goes out, have to reset it. Microwave just shuts down, something wrong with electronics. Going to have to buy another one to fit the cabinet...ugh, hope next one lasts longer.

Sensor failed/knocking noise appeared w/in 90 days

The reheat sensor failed & it started making a rhythmic knocking noise within 90 days of purchase. See the photo below for what it did to a piece of chicken, and the sensor didn't think it was done reheating yet. Shouldn't have walked away, so now have to watch it like a hawk.

This microwave is easy to use, and heats well. The ergonomics of the touch pad could be better - location of cook, start, and cancel buttons. Our died before 2 years which is surprising and sad. It started but there was no heat. Finally replaced with the same one to avoid spending cost on another trim since ours is placed in a shelf over the oven.
