Microwave Sparking

My product started sparking with no paint peeling or anything on the inside of our microwave. I had a mug with water that I have heated for tea many many times and this has never happened. I tried again with a glass bowl and it sparked as well. I am very disappointed. What if I was not close to the microwave to stop it. I am afraid there would have been a fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Safety Hazard

Started sparking with no paint peeling or anything on the inside (right) of our microwave. We tried to warm a cup of milk when it happened. We normally use daily for milk warming. We tried with a glass bowl and it sparked as well. I am very disappointed. This is a safety hazard for anyone. We are lucky to be there when it happened so that we can turn it off. As i am reading reviews it appears this is a common problem. Please kindly recall this product for the safety reasons.

Scared and dissapointed

While making microwavable popcorn, the microwave started to spark, smell like an electrical fire and make an God awful noises. I thought the unit caught on fire, but thankfully it did not. I'm disappoint this is happening as we never had this happen before. As of recent, it is happening more frequently and is a safety concern. I told my kids not to use it anymore.

spark, caught fire and burnt

While I was reseraching for a replacement model for this microwave, I saw so many same comments - spark and caught fire issue. I was not alone, luckily I was on the spot and catch the spark and fire.
I am desperate, not sure if I should get another replacement like this or I have to buy an expensive trim kit to get a safer model which could be a costly replacement.

Microwave doesn't stop running with the door open

We've had this microwave for more than 8 years now. It worked great up until recently. For some reason, the microwave keeps going when we open the microwave door and after the cook time has ended. It's actually quite worrisome because our kids use the microwave. And when they open the door and the microwave is still running, I don't know if they are getting hit with microwaves or something.
I would recommend this to a friend!
