It seems slow

We bought this microwave to replace a previous GE microwave, that basically died on the date that the warranty ran out (5 years). We were told that this new one was the equivalent of the previous one, yet it doesn't seems to heat food quite as quickly and the warranty is only one year. It was slightly larger than the previous one, which meant that we couldn't use the same frame-in, and that cost more than the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave has always done its job. The interior is large and the microwave plate is big so it holds large containers.

Basic but perfect easy features!

I did not need a fancy microwave, just one with basic quality features that would function and perform without frustration. This one has all of that, perfect for heating, reheating and an occasional popcorn blast.

Purchase the GE microwave and a build in trim kit. The unit was replacing a GE that we used daily for over 12 years. Fit was very good and easy to install. Kit was a little high priced but made well.

Great Value in an Attractive Appliance

I bought this microwave for a summer home that would be used by many people. This microwave looks good, has great features, and is easy to use. Due to construction delays, it was not plugged in until 7 months after delivery. It worked well from the beginning and coordinates with the GE stove. Very happy with the purchase.

Just what I expected from GE!

This is my second GE Profile microwave. I had the first on for 10 years and was happy until the day it went. I looked high and low until returning to the same retailer where I bought the first one, and there it was. It had all the features I wanted, plus a few more. The best part was it operated almost exactly like my old one. Six weeks later I am still enjoying this stylish workhorse of my kitchen.
