Really nice

After using a cheaper microwave for so many years, then using this one since August, it is like using the Mercedes Benz version of a microwave.

just replaced the old Profile GE microwave which we enjoyed for many years. Tis unit is very nice seems quieter, expecting many yeas of use to come

Sensor at times will fail!

Microwave has amazing power. At times it will have a sensor error and so it is a good idea to be around the microwave if cooking something sensitive; I happened to burn something while doing laundry and luckily nothing bad happened but did burn some good food and left a lovely smell to remind me of the burn! Just keep an eye on it and hopefully this isnt something that will continue (sensor failure has happened approx 2-3 times in the first <1 month of use)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad build quality

We bought this appliance as part of our whole kitchen renovation. We went for the most expensive brand and device available, wanting to get the best reliability and looks. While this appliance looks pretty good in the kitchen, it has failed TWICE in the last 3 months. Each time it was a different electrical fault - once a wire burning out and once a connector to a thermal switch burning out (and producing acrid fumes). This points to poor build quality.
Reliability is really important in appliances like microwaves, dishwashers etc. When they fail, it throws the whole daily cycle astray and repairing or replacing them is a real pain. Since we make decor choices around the appliances, it is difficult to fit in another brand. So it is not just the cost of the appliance that is at stake. To tide us over I had to bring out my 15 year old Samsung microwave from storage each time the GE microwave failed. That one works fine even today, after four coast to coast moves!
GE has been prompt in getting the appliance repaired, I do give them credit for that. And being in warranty, they did not charge anything. So kudos on that front too.
However I would have preferred having a fault-less performance on such a new appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
