We have been using an old unit for 10 years(not a GE) What a plesent supprise. I am sure we will probably use this microwave 10 years.

We have purchased the same microwave oven for 4-5 times now. Sleek design, great power, longevity, easy operation, and easy cleaning. It fits perfectly for our custom kitchen microwave nook.

Purchased this unit to replace a similar 10 year old model. It has just been installed and so far is working well. It is much quieter than the one it replaces. It also heats faster as it is more powerful. The trim kit is pretty expensive for a plastic frame. The previous one was metal. I hope it will hold up as well.

I bought this microwave oven because my old one broke and the same model was discontinued. The reason I bought this model is because the dimensions are the same as the old one. Not that happy with the new microwave. The finish (black) is dull. The volume sound of the beeper is low. The unit has a Sound Button, but all that does is give you a choice if you want the beeper on or not... useless. Timer feature on the unit doesn't give you enough warning when the time is up. You get one beep, not a continuous sound until turn off the timer....useless. The Beverage feature is a joke.... barely heats my coffee. I expected more from GE....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a replacement for a 10 year old built-in GE microwave. We were so worried that dimensions had changed and we wouldn't be able to mount it in the existing space. Imagine our relief that the size hadn't changed and we could just pop it in place. Thank you!
