Perfect size for small space

Perfect size for the space I had to put it but it is smaller than my previous one. It suits the needs of my husband and I but would not recommend for a larger family

We bought this to replace our original GE Spacemaker, which has been going strong since 1997; we gave it to our daughter who is delighted to have it. The only reason we replaced it, was because we wanted a stainless steel one to match our new appliances. The bonus after 20 years? The new one has a turn table, yea! We are so happy that GE is still making the Spacemaker!

It fits where the old one was. It's not too big or too small. It's 800 watts and heats food fast and evenly.

This is the third Profile Spacemaker I have purchased in 17 years, two to replace the original installed by the builder. A custom space requires the same microwave and this one was touted to fit as the old one did. It did not. The holes for hanging were moved and the door is 1/2" deeper. The quality of controls, door opener, and look in general are severely degraded from the one I purchased four years ago. A real disappointment, but I had no choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
