Diminished quality

We bought this to replace an older (2008) GE spacesaver microwave that died. That was fine - we used it heavily for 9 years. However, this newer version is much cheaper quality. The door is flimsy, the buttons are cheap. I hope it lasts as long as the old one but i have my doubts. I recommend it based on the size - that's why we bought it - we needed something that would fit an opening on our shelves. But other than that, I'm sure there are better microwaves out there that are a better quality/value proposition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Space Saver Under the Cabinet Microwave

I am replacing a 20 year old GE SpaceSaver Microwave. It fits beautifully under the Cabinet. I hope it will last as long as my previous Microwave. Installation was easy.

Great Microwave

We have been looking to replace our built in microwave for a few months as the previous finally died. Since the space was small we decided on this microwave. It fits perfect and looks fantastic. The only drawback is the keypad is not lighted, but still live it!!!

Nice Microwave

Bought to replace my 13 year old GE microwave oven. Like that it is more powerful and fits in existing built in space with trim kit well

Replaced Old Model

I've had this microwave working for about a day. We replaced the old version which was built in. It is quite annoying that they changed the dimensions so we had to buy a new trip kit. Also, on this new one, the open/close door button feels cheaper - I hope it doesn't break. Our last GE Profile Microwave lasted 8 years then the interior paint pealed so badly we had to replace it. For the price, it would be nice it this one lasted at least 5 years. Sounds like the paint will peal on it too. I do like the cabinet depth of the GE Profile and that is the only reason I would recommend it.

Only micro that fits!

I found myself in a tighst squeeze for space. This micro does the trick and with the nifty surround kit it looks uber professional.
