Too wide-why did GE make new model 1/8 inch wider

Why on earth would you make this newer version 1/8 inch wider when it is designed to fit into cabinetry! So annoying that what I bought to replace my old GE microwave doesn’t fit into my kitchen. Just shows blatant disregard for your customers. The microwave itself is fine, just beware if you are updating your appliances.

This Microwave fit in the space we had

We have had it now for 4 months works well. But would prefer that when you put time for cooking it starts at minute not :25 seconds

I bought this about two months ago because I could not select a different model or brand due to the area and size of the kitchen cabinet and its location go no remodel possible without much expense. It’s not my preferred model because of its features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the third GE microwave we have had. The last one just up and quit after10 years! My only dislike is that the paint inside the oven was bubbling off for some reason. It happened to both of them. Hope they have gotten this problem fixed.

We bought this oven a couple of months ago and have been pleased with it. It seems to be more substantial and of higher quality than less expensive microwaves.
