Perfect for under counter hanging

This is what we needed not meant ppl make one that can be hung under a cabinet. Much better choice for us. The key option is a microwave drawer, they are really pricey!

So far I have no complaints about the quality and operational aspectsof this unit. However, I am disappointed that GE changed the dimensions of the unit as it did not fit into the existing space where I had installed an older model

Needs Improvement

Have owned 5 GE microwaves from this family/size. Works fine, needs work on control panel font size and style to improve readability. Older versions were better than new replacements of PEM31. Have both white and black models, white is better than black which is almost unreadable in current version without direct light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Older Spacesaver Model Was Better

Great product for the size

Great product and look. Sufficient for the size. We went with a counter top microwave because we have a decorative hood vent so we did not have the room.

Not as good as the GE model replaced

I had the GE predecessor to this, and it lasted 15 (!!!) years, which was terrific. Because I needed a microwave to fit a particular space, this was my only real choice. It is much noisier, and the turntable is smaller (even though the unit is deeper), and the buttons need to be pushed much harder. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
