Overpriced and works poorly.

I purchased this microwave only because it is an exact fir for a custom shelve I had installed 18 years ago. No other small microwave fits and it appears that GE has a patent on this size unit so no other manufacturer can make one this size. Further it is twice expensive as other small microwaves and after two months use appears to be of poor quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very costly

This unit has a specific size for which there is no competition. Ones you design your cabinets you have to buy this model only. I made this mistake 23 year back so I have no choice other than buying this model by paying four time price than other consumer microwave model from GE. It's quality is no different than consumer version of counter top microwave.

Fire hazard! Do not buy!

Just had the turntable shatter by itself in the microwave. We've had it for 5 years. Today, for some reason it would not turn off. After we took the food out, it kept running, eventually shattering the turntable. Fire hazard!!

I had to buy this model to replace my old, 1000 watt profile microwave because of the particular dimensions (it hangs between and under kitchen cabinets). Apparently, GE no longer makes a 1000 watt in these dimensions, so I'm stuck with the 800 watt version. Very disappointed!

Bought 2 years ago and just failed. It's the third GE I have purchased to fit the space and they just do not last. Starting to question owning stock in the company as I have not had much success with their stoves either. I have had to have the same burner replaced twice so I think it's the part.

This unit is so under powered it take twice as long to heat anything ,.Can't use microwave pop corn with out the bag getting stuck and burns the bag but does not cook the pop corn . Takes twice as long to heat as the unit I replaced , The out side is larger and the inside is smaller.Very disappointed

It broke after a few weeks, would not heat, had to have the magnatron replaced (under warranty) but It is noisy, still has a defect which shuts off the clock when one uses "pause" button, and it is tinny and cheaply made for the price.
