This is the third ge profile under counter microwave I’ve purchased. I was happy with all the features of the first two but the quality of this unit is substandard in every respect. It’s noisy, sounds cheaply made when you open or close the door and the buttons including the door opening handle do not feel well made. GE might as well go out of the appliance business if this is the best they can do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

At first had to get used to new style kit..larger than previous...nevertheless
Am please with overall look and performance..It is the only size I can use
For my built in cabinet.. easy to clean and very quiet.

Nice easy to use features.This seems to be a good microwave although I just started using it. And improvement would be the old door opener. Nothing wrong with this one but the plastic eventually will give out. The other improvement would have been to make a frame who’s outer diameter was the same size as the same similar model this replaced

Replaced a 17 year old ge unit. Still has more features than we can use. Platform it sits on is easier to install. Nice improvement.
