Not Nearly As Good As the Last One

This product is a disappointment: the door rattles when you close it, there isn't enough light in the interior (because it has a light source on only one side of the unit), and you can't ever have a flat surface on which to cook multiple items at the same time. This replaced a GE Spacemaker we had for 15 years and is nowhere near as high quality or versatile a product as the previous version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best microwave! We had to replace an old...18 years old...GE Space Saver Microwave. This model is almost identical...Love the features!

Works good and very quiet. When you open or close the door the latch system is loud and feels very cheaply made. I didn’t know this until I got it home to use it. The labeling on the buttons are so small they are hard to see. Not impressed with the lack of quality. We’ll see how long it lasts...

Nice looks, but mediocre in performance, the buttons are especially hard to press for results. It is pretty and matches the rest of the newly purchased unit, and functions adequately for my needs, so I'll live with it. My 3 year old Panasonic kicked its b*** performance-wise and functions, especially in the defrost cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought one of these items 14 years ago, it lasted and worked great, then failed after 14 years. So we bought another one just like it and figure it should last me another 14 years. Great company, great product.
