Extremely Noisy!!

There must be something wrong with this microwave which we just purchased and installed. It is very noisy. Not sure its working correctly because of this. What do I do?

Perfect size for counter

We’ve purchased this model microwave before due to it’s size that fits perfectly on the countertop leaving usable space in front. It’s not as powerful as other mid-size microwaves, but we’ve found the power to be just right.

Great alternative to a huge microwave

My larger model died. It was just too big as well. I was concerned that this one may not be powerful enough, but I've had no issues. Everything heats the same and I'm very happy. Definitely recommend this microwave and wish my old one would have died sooner.

Very nice looking and compact

This microwave replaced a bigger GE microwave. Unfortunately, power levels on this one are lower. This makes reheating items to take longer. Of course this is not a product flaw but simply a by-product of downsizing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The microwave is decent however makes more noise than I would anticipated. Plus, some of the parts (ie: the push button to open the door) feel very cheap.

Also, should you find that your door is difficult to open, it's best to press the center of the door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate.

I am on my second GE microwave in 4 weeks. The first one lasted 2 weeks because twice it wouldn’t start on Express start 3. Canceling made it worse because then NOTHING started. After I cooked my dinner at a neighbor’s and tried later in the evening it worked again. So far my second one (same model) has had the identical problem once. Holding my breath! If there is a “next time” I am switching stores and the GE brand. I am still waiting for my new GE range following an electrical fire. Hopefully the range will work better than the microwave!
