We needed a microwave with very specific dimensions & this was one of our only options. So far, it is great! Looks very sleek, works well, no complaints at all,

Good overall microwave

This replaced the same model I bought 10 years ago. The new model is good, however it is smaller and thinner than the previous model so when you press the buttons, the unit moves (and mine is built in). Also when you set the timer it only beeps once when done...so if you miss that one beep...you won’t know it’s done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A lesson in frustration.

This is our 3rd GE undercounter microwave in the same application.
We know that any appliance never lasts forever. However...
The first was installed by our kitchen remodel contractor.
The second came with hardware but no mounting template and holes were different.
The 3rd came without hardware or a template, and again, the pattern was different.
The unit fits into a VERY tight space. We were finally got it securely mounted, the door failed to fully open because it jams into the cabinet to the left.

Disappointing

Owned the previous model of this microwave. Was pleased with It's operation. Size fits into my predetermined cabinet space, hence, reordered updated model. Very disappointed with product! Function options do not work effectively, light is dim, not the quality I expect from GE!

The microwave was our second of the same kind. Although we thought it might be off just a little in size to fit the existing bracket it worked.

love compact size and other great features

This is the 3rd GE Profile Microwave oven that we've purchased. Absolutely love the compact size for the space we have available. The multiple features are more than adequate for our needs and we can't imagine life in the kitchen without this great appliance. Thanks GE.

great replacement

This unit replaced a 27 year old microwave, with almost the same external dimensions. Thanks to the magic of power tools, it is now in and functioning. Hope it lasts as long as the original.
