Perfect sizing ... looks great and works great!

We owned a prior GE microwave that we loved and after many many many years it died. I was so happy finding this replacement in stainless steel and matching trim kit. This was easy to install and looks even better than our prior one. I have already used and love it!

Clunky and bulky looking

Pressing the button to open and close the door, the door slamming shut etc., all very clunky. Feels like really cheap electronics from the 80's. Overall design is cosmetically just not sleek looking. Yes it works but everything about it just feels "old".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you find that your microwave door closes loudly or is harder to close than your previous model, the difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. I replaced an 11 year old GE Profile with this updated version. I don't like this new one as well. The touch panel is not back lighted.

over-priced with minimal features

Bought this microwave because it was one of the few that would fit the small microwave shelf in my kitchen. For the price, I would have hoped it would have had a sensor reheat feature but alas it only has basic features you'd see on a microwave that's a quarter the price. The turntable also randomly stops working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We Love this microwave by GE.
It is our second one since we remodeled our kitchen several years ago. We love the GE Sensor Microwaves. The last one was still working fine but we got a new oven and decided to get a new version of what we had. It is so easy to use and does a more things than we will ever use.
You can't go wrong with a GE Products, 5 stars all around.

Exactly what I was looking for!

After replacing my 20 year old microwave which worked great up until the end with one that is as close to in size as my old one, I am very pleased with this microwave. Also, I wanted it in white to match my other GE appliances and that was available as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
