Our 3rd - GE Microwave since '92

We have a limited opening in our cabinetry to fit a microwave. The GE slimline is the only miccrowate that fits into the space. Our last GE microwave died in 13 months (not 12, mind you, the amount of the warranty.) We have had to replace it with another of the same. Galling, especially given that the appliance is rarely used. Wouldn't recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement for a 12 year-old GE microwave

Options to replace the old microwave were constrained by the size of cabinet opening. The PEM31DFBB slid right in and has a number of new features that are welcome.

Cheaply made!

Pure junk like the other reviews stated. Cheap plastic, not even stainless steel and the gap around it you can put a finger in it. No other options unfortunately once I bought the micro already. It's no surprise GE went from best in class to one of the worst.

Had this model before, but had some issues - had to have circuit board replaced then worked for another 7 years. But really like GE so will give it another try
