Great functions and size

Hard to find a small and quality microwave that has all the functions. Was looking for a microwave that fits into a certain spot with all the functions and this is the only one that works.

Only One to Fit the Space

We had this model installed 9 years ago; it died 8 months ago. Because of the way it was originally installed, we had to hire a contractor to remove and replace it with the same model. (NOTE: Despite being the same model, the newer one is slightly larger and required finesse to install.) We are saitsfied with its performance so far.

Works for 5 years then dies. Replace regularly.

When designing a kitchen in 2005 I wanted a microwave over the the second sink. Bad idea. I was told the predecessor to this model was the only option. It works fine for a few years but inevitably dies after about 5. If you've designed your cabinetry around this you have no choice but to keep replacing it every time it dies, which is a bit annoying due to the way it's mounted. I'm lucky this time because the 2022 purchase had the same hole layout as the 2015 version, but that was different from the 2010 and 2005 versions, and re-cutting holes through the cabinets above was tricky. -- the bottom shelf to which it's mounted now looks like swiss cheese.
So now I'm on the 4th purchase of this planned obsolescence, but if you have a choice I'd go in another direction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works but not as good as it's prior GE microwave

Microwave works but timer is useless because it only announces one low beep at time.
Also, buttons are not as well placed and inner dimension is slightly smaller.
