Door Sticks/Does Not Open Reliably

Brand new, just installed and the door sticks/does not reliably open about half the time. When this happens, I can get it to open by first pushing down on the top RH corner of the door and then hitting the open button. After doing that, the door will open OK if I open and close it repeatedly RIGHT THEN. But the next time I go to use it, it usually sticks again. It is VERY FRUSTRATING to have to deal with this and getting it fixed on a brand new, name brand product that cost what this cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For your reference, federal law requires that any adjustment or repair of a microwave door must also be followed up by a leak test to make sure of proper fit, operation, and alignment, and this must be done by a qualified technician.

This is our second microwave , the first one lasted about 12 years so we were happy to find the same model to replace the first one.

Sadly the built-in GE we had stopped working. This one is one inch too wide and high to fit the space but works on the counter below. The interior size is great.

Nice size, quiet, a little underpowered

We love the fact that this microwave occupies almost half the depth of a comparable microwave. Interior capacity is fine, with room to comfortable accomodate a full size dinner plate. It falls on the lower end of power output for similiar microwaves, at 800 watts. The power is passable, but I did not feel like the cooking was particularly even. Quiet. It sits level on the countertop, without any additional shimming (this is too much to ask for some brands, apparently). Looks nice on the exterior, and I did not have trouble reading the control panel, as others have mentioned, except in low light. Interior lighting is fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had an almost identical one before. This fits perfectly in the space we had created. The previous one lasted 10 years. Very good service.
