Our old microwave finally quite after 35 years! Now with this new one, we are so happy with all the updated features and ease of use. It's very quiet and does everything we want in a microwave.

Order only if you need a Spacesaver microwave

This is my third GE Spacemaker purchase and it has the cheapest features of all. The door opening handle is not firm when pressed, sometimes takes several tries. The turntable is smaller than the previous one I owned and the microwave itself costs twice as much. So far I have no complaints about the heating of items. The clock no longer has an AM or PM selection. Unfortunately I need a Spacesaver microwave, so I have no choice in selecting another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave is very quiet.
Wish the trim kit that it monts into cabinet was beefier. There is flex when using controls.

This is the second time we’ve had to replace this microwave in 12 years. Unfortunately it’s the only one that fits above the counter.

Perfect size!

We really liked our previous GE spacemaker microwave and had to replace it with one that fit in the same spot. Unfortunately the price of the new one was much higher than other brands but we bought one anyway.

GE Profile Under Cabinet Microwave

GE is really the only company that makes something like this. I previously had a different GE model but alas, after 15 years it needed replacement. This machine is so much more advanced and works great. It's not the biggest microwave out there but I don't need it to be. I have a Convection/air fryer/regular gas oven. I'm not cooking a turkey in ANY microwave. Absolutely love this unit. Mine is mounted under the cabinet with the optional mounting kit but it would also work great on the counter.
