Good all purpose microwave.

Only negative feature is the timer which only chimes once when it is done. If you are in another room and don't hear it go off there is no reminder. Otherwise, is is a good all purpose unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet with nice options, but low on power

This is one of the only microwaves that fit in our kitchen and GE knows that and charges a hefty premium for it. It is quieter than it’s predecessor and has a nice 30 second timer option. It does take longer to cook things than it’s predecessor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Arrived quickly and has a straightforward operation. It is an unusual shape (rectangle oblong) which fit our space perfectly.

Works fine but missing some “nice to haves”

We purchased this microwave to replace our old GE unit. We required a build in unit, but found the selection and features are limited on this particular unit.
It works and has the basic functions of a 800 watt unit, but found other unit (counter top of below cabinet models with more functions and wattage at lower price.
Most disappointed that the punchboard control is illuminated so with every use we need to turn on the kitchen lights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this original about 10 months ago and loved it. One day it would not work call G.E. warranty took great care of us and we replaced it with a new one same model. Would recommend G.E. as well as this microwave
