I purchased all GE appliances in Slate several years ago and love them! I need to replace my microwave 2.2 GE profile countertop in Slate and it is discontinued!!!!! I want to know if you are replacing this item soon, I could just cry because I LOVE the slate appliances and would like to buy in the future ;(

We know that replacing a microwave isn’t always an easy task. The PEM31EFES would make a great replacement for your model. We do not have other options in slate color. However, we recommend checking with the local retail shop.

This was just a replacement for same model we bought 10 years ago. Pretty much same features but slightly taller than last so had to make a few adjustments to fit in cabinet. Only thing I don’t love like is way door closes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Love the "Under the Cabinet" Mounting Capability

I previously had a GE Profile microwave because of the additional counter space it gives me underneath the unit when it's mounted. The only setback is that it would have been a lot easier to mount it if they had kept the mounting hole spacings the same as their old unit.
