Reliable appliance when so many fail

Have used this model microwave for over thirty years and love the compact size, efficiency and reliability. Every fifteen years (although working fine) it just gets a little worn out and “over used”, so we replace it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Built-In

I first installed this model as a built-in in 1990. It has served us well for 33 year but has started to act up. So I bought this replacement. I'm THRILLED GE still makes it. It was an easy clean replacement.

This microwave replaced our very old GE spacesaver. Love the way it looks and is more powerful than our old one, quieter too. The only negative comment I have is I bought the black stainless and unfortunately the prompts on the buttons are hard to see when the lights are low.

What a quiet microwave! For 800 watts it reheats very quickly. Way better than the one it’s replacing from the 1990’s.

Worked for less than 2 years

It was great while it lasted. We renovated our kitchen and mounted this is our beverage station with trim kit. Less than 2 years later and it’s inoperable with an error message reading DOOR .. whatever that means

It is better than the one I had because it opens from the side not the top. The buttons are hard to push, but we have managed to figure out how hard to push them.
