The microwave is pretty quiet, which is nice, but it heats food unevenly and seems to take very long if you put more than one thing in it. I have it on full power but it still takes longer than my old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works fine but I find that the glass plate is somewhat hard to get aligned with the motor. Additionally, the touch keys are not quite large enough and require a significant amount of pressure to activate. Our older model GE Profile under cabinet unit had larger touch keys and easier to use.

We have just purchased a new model of the GE Microwave we have had for years. It fits perfectly in the space we have, works like a charm, and is spiffy in our kitchen. How nice to be able to replace a very good microwave with the very same microwave. No learning involved...just install and use!

Fits Previous GE SpaceSaver MW Spaces

Replaces an earlier GE SpaceSaver microwave. I can tell that it's much lighter (cheaper) - the door is very loud when closing (much cheaper feeling latch). When running, it is almost too quiet (this can be good or bad). This small MW is very expensive and I only purchased it because it was the only one I could find to fit my cabinet space. Since it is small (750w) it takes longer than a larger (1000w) MW to heat items but it seems to do the same job as my previous GE.

Replacement Microwave

Replacement for an original I purchased 20 years prior. Unit was similar but size was slightly different had to purchase a new lock down and trim kit to place into cabinet. The door does not seem to be as strong as the original sounds tinny, and the key pad is difficult to read and see when entering heating choices. Over all it has worked well so far.
