Good microwave but the display is too dark to see

The performance of the microwave is good. However, the display is too dark. Our microwave is installed in a countertop cabinet. Since it’s at waist level, it is hard to see the numbers on the display in a lighted kitchen. There is no backlight.

This is the replacement for a GE Profile microwave we previously had. Not overly pleased with it, just feels cheap. Everything is kinda clunky however it is a little quieter than the previous one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a new microwave of the same kind I had before. The prior one lasted almost 20 years. This is quiet and gets the job done. I have no complaints. There is a turntable inside, it looks nice outside, and I have it installed with the optional trim kit, so it is built in to my cabinet. I'm happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had the earlier space saver model for 20 years, the inside paint started peeling so we replaced it with this newer model quieter and heats things quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
