Microwave with the right dimensions

We had a 1984 GE Spacemaker microwave oven that fit perfectly into our space in our kitchen. ( It still works but it takes 6 minutes to reheat a plate of food). I searched everywhere for a microwave with the same dimensions and discovered GE 's Spacemaker Microwave still existed and would fit our space perfectly. It cost more than most microwaves and isn't a big wattage but if it will cook or reheat my food and we can get at least 20 years out of this one I'm all set. There is a learning curve to this one considering the other one had two dials and a button but so far we are pleased. The only negative thing I can say is it took a month to arrive. Luckily I was not in a hurry. Thanks GE.

MICROWAVE WITH THE PROPER DIMENSIONS

We own a 1984 GE Spacemaker microwave that is built into our kitchen cabinets. After 38 years we decided maybe we should see if we could find another microwave that would fit in the space. I discovered GE still makes a Spacemaker with the same dimensions. It was a bit pricey but it fits and if it lasts as long as the other I'm OK with it. The old one still works but takes 6 min. to reheat a plate of food. There is a learning curve with the new one as it is digital and the old one had two dials and a button. But we are pleased so far. Thank you GE. The only negative was that it took a month to get it. Luckily we were in no hurry.

The original model lasted 15 years. Purchased a new one a month ago. It stopped working. We are stuck buying the same one as it’s a built in. Additionally GE will reimburse up

Model is the replacement size that we need.

Needed to replace a GE model that finally gave up the ghost after 25 yrs of great use and reliability. This model is the replacement one that we needed to fit our the cubby space. It looks great, is quiet and has the power level expected. Hopefully this one will last as long as the first one!

Disappointed, it is just like my old my previous microwave but does not perform as well. very poor results with popcorn, same kind I always use.

Simple straight forward

This is our second microwave of the same model; our prior unit was damaged due to misuse. The first unit worked flawlessly for about 4 years before it was damaged. This model works great! I especially like the reheat function; it heats evenly no “cold spots”. Very intuitive control panel, solid built unit. I recommend this particular model if you want a simple rugged microwave.
