Perfect for our family of 6! This is the 3rd unit we purchased, the previous 2 units lasted more than 10 years each which is amazing considering the daily use 365 days a year!

Door is very noisy when closing. I would think GE could come up with something that makes less noise

Replacement built in microwave

Purchased to replace a 2002 model Spacesaver II. A bit pricey, but only model that would fit into existing built in cabinet.
Works as a microwave should. Have yet to install since GE is slow to ship installation kit.

THIS IS THE THIRD PEM31SF4SS THAT I HAVE BOUGHT. THE FIRST ONE LASTED 8+ YEARS, THE SECOND A DISAPPOINTEDLY 2YEARS ( MAY BE A DUD ?? ) DECIDED TO GO WITH GE ONVCE AGAIN .

It is not near as powerful as the microwave we’ve had for 14 years. Trim package ordered to fit it in the slot is not as nice either.

Drop in for Spacemaker II

This microwave was a direct replacement for an old Spacemaker II. It is about an inch taller, but the trim kit fits the same opening in the cabinetry so it looks like a perfect drop-in. This one is also much quieter.
I would recommend this to a friend!
