Won’t turnoff even after heating cycles completes

Product continues to run even though the timer has completed. I can’t tell if it’s still heating or not, nervous about opening the door. So we have to unplug it as there is no other way to remove the food.
If there is a recall, please let me know how to process the request.
Very concerned, as this seem dangerous!

We bought this to replace a GE Spacesaver II that served us well for 12 years. This replacement is a poor example of GE engineering. It is very "tinny" and sounds cheap. The keypad is very hard to push and requires too much pressure. We are very disappointed in it.

I did not want an advantium oven just a microwave that pops popcorn really well. Well wouldn't you know this one doesn't!!!!! It burns popcorn every time, even while using the popcorn setting.

This is the only microwave that would fit into my kitchen. Had to return the first due to electrical short. Replacement heats slow, unevenly, weak power even on Power Level 10. And the price is ridiculously high. But I was forced to purchase it because this is the only microwave that would fit into the shelf space in my kitchen. Am thinking about redoing that part of kitchen so I can get a different microwave.

Because of the unique installation, we are linked to this design. NOW, GE has changed mounting dimensions and we had to have electrocian move outlet (doesnt fit right under std cabinet if outlet is directly behind unit). If this one blows up quickly, I will have to redesign cabinet layout. I will do, so that I can buy something more reliable!

We purchased this product to replace a 4 year old GE microwave of the same model. This is the third one we've purchased in 8 years because it is the only one that fits our cabinet. This model has even less features that the previous one which had less features than the first one we purchased. I'm very disappointed.

Tiny with little power...

I wish I'd really looked at this microwave before buying it. It is the size of a thimble and doesn't have a lot of power. I hope to replace it with something better in the future.
