plugged it in and it didn't heat

Plugged it in and it didn't heat on any setting. Frustrating to say the least as it was replacing a 7 year old GE microwave that just broke too. Customer servicer is sending out repair next week so I'll update once we see how that goes.

Control panel very difficult to read. Needs back lite or white printing.
Control buttons very difficult to push. Several very had pressings might make it work.

We just had this incorporated into our kitchen renovation and this is not the best microwave. You have to press fairly hard on the digital panel for starters. It seems to take twice as long as our current microwave that works just fine, however, I had this GE configured into a custom space. The only positive is that it's nice and quiet...that doesn't outweigh the negatives though.

Turntable will not turn. (Yes the button was on).

So disappointed the turntable would not turn.
Returned to dealer for replacement.
It is a great product..small size, lots of features and power.
I will re-rate this after a while, and if it performs as its predecessor (same model) it will get 5 Stars.
I guess everyone gets one mulligan.

Missing Detail

Referred to this model to replace an older GE model for my built in cabinet. Width wise it fit exactly into the 24 inch wide space. However, what the description and specifications do not tell you, is that you need about an extra 1/2 inch of space on the left to open the door. Had no choice but to return the unit, for a more reasonably priced counter top model.

This "new and improved" upgrade is anything but. The previous model had a larger turntable, more features, better lighting, and was a superb product. It was a bit smaller too. The quality has gone downhill. This model appears cheaply made.
