This is great small microwave and perfect for the built-in shelf we have in our kitchen. it is attractive and almost noiseless.

Compact but perfectly adequate

This is a compact size microwave with a little less power than the full size models, I believe 800W vs 1100W. Our house came with a microwave this size built into the cabinet, and when it died after 10 years we had to replace it with the same size unit. As far as we are concerned, it does everything we ask of it and we don't notice any problem at all with the slightly lower wattage. The two of us don't cook full size casseroles in it from scratch, mainly cooking vegetables, potatoes, heating leftovers, heating water for tea, popcorn, but not heavy duty cooking. It's very quiet, does a great job and we are well satisfied. The compact size has never prevented us from cooking anything we want.

Compact Microwave

I specifically bought this microwave for my kitchen remodel. I was not looking for the bulky over-the-range microwave. I placed this microwave over a counter on another wall. It looks great with the cabinet set up as it doesn't stick out very far. Exactly what I wanted. I'm not a big user of microwaves so this one does the trick. I use it to warm up my leftover Chinese and similar things. If you are looking for a high-powered microwave this is not the one for you. For me it does a good job!

great style and size

This microwave is the perfect size and style for our remodeled kitchen. It does have lower power than larger units, but that is not problem based on our needs. We have had one problem so far. Every now and then.....very randomly......when I attempt to use the oven, it does not work. The word "food" shows up on the screen and it beeps at me. I hit cancel and try again and again , all to no avail. Later on, when I try again, everything works fine. It is a complete mystery, but disturbing, because I'm afraid one day, it will just stop working all together. Sometimes I think I should return it and get another one, but it was such a hassle to install (we used a trim kit so it looks built in) that I don't have the energy to mess with it.
I clicked "yes" that I would recommend this product, but wish there was a "Maybe" button, or "Recommend with Reservations".....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this a few months ago I pray it stands up. The GE Monogram stopped working after three and 1/2 years. Te door started to stick after 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
